And so it has begun...

Despite all my efforts classes have started again. I think I would've enjoyed about 3 week down in Provo to just have fun before I actually had to be serious. Last Thursday I moved into my little 4 person apartment in the complex called "The Colony." Oddly enough my sister also lived there during her sophomore year. It is a cool place with its own road. Sadly enough I have really only met about 4 people but thankfully I do have friends from last year.
I've come to realize in the last week or so that 19 is SUPER young once you are out of the dorms. Thankfully I have a ton of other 19 year old friends, but seriously when did I become a child again?
I said I had "moved" into my apartment already but really I still have boxes on my floor waiting to be figured out. An apartment is a lot different from a dorm and as weird as it sounds I'm struggling to move into a bigger room than the dorm. Thankfully I have the most amazing and sweetest roommate ever that she is understanding and allows my boxes to take over our room.
Possibly my greatest achievement so far has been creating curtains for our closet. For some reason our closet had no covering and as much as I love looking at clothes Sarah (my roommate) and I decided we didn't like the open and messy feel of seeing our clothes. So, yes we went to Walmart and created curtains under 20 dollars! (Once I get my camera back I will take pictures and post them).
So I guess I can finally talk about class. My dad doesn't believe I actually go to school while here but I really do. I have a great schedule for this semester. I may never survive it, but I am super excited for the things that I can learn from the classes. I am taking Athletic Training (the class that helps me apply to my major), Physiology (may actually be the death of me), American Sign Language, D&C, and a dance class. So far my sign class has been the coolest experience. My teacher is actually deaf and therefore cannot speak. We are also not allowed to speak in class. We get fined 50 cents if caught talking (yes I am afraid I'll come out poorer after this class). I'm on campus a ton of the day but I think campus is probably the prettiest part of Provo so I'm okay with that.
I had my first lacrosse meeting last night and was slightly shocked that we start practices tomorrow and our first tournament will be on the 26th of September against some of our biggest rivals. I'm excited to be back into the swing of things but am seriously wishing I had ran more than 4 times this summer.
Well there it is. Probably way more than needed and way more scattered than anyone wants to read. I am in the library with the goal to do my homework so I should probably get to it. (Sorry for the craziness of my blog! It is kind of how my brain works).
